BEGINNING OUR SEARCH FOR A NEW VICAR
Three of Trinity’s Vestry members—Jack Lilie, Marianne Heim, and Robert Rubin—met with Canon Michael Hunn of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina for about an hour after the service on June 13, 2010 to discuss the transition and search for a new Vicar. In an effort to keep the congregation informed about the process, we will be sending out e-news to your email addresses and have started an online blog with updates. You may reach the blog by clicking on this link.

Conducting A "Mini-Profile"
Canon Hunn wants us to conduct a "mini-profile" over the course of one or two meetings of the congregation. This would mean having you help us answer three basic questions about Trinity, posting the answers on our web site, and using that as the basis for our search for a new vicar. The questions are:

  • What distinguishes Trinity Fuquay-Varina from other Episcopal churches?
  • What is God calling Trinity to do in the next 3-5 years?
  • What sort of clergy leadership are we looking for?

Please Give Us Feedback
We hope to respond to Canon Hunn's request three questions next week. Please send us your feedback as soon as possible. Call a vestry member or send an email to us at news@trinityfuquay.org. We look forward to your response.
